Bars and Shadows

The world around us takes form by the interplay of light and darkness. When a bright light shines upon an object, it casts a dark shape. This event is known as casting shadows, and it's causes the striking contrast we see between forms in space. Bars, owing to their structure, often create unique shadows that can be quite intriguing.

The world beyond/past/outside the razor wire is a strange/unfamiliar/alien place. Many long/intensely/years of confinement can make it hard/difficult/challenging to adjust/adapt/acclimate to the shifting/dynamic/ever-changing tides of ordinary/everyday/normal life. Simple/Mundane/Everyday tasks like crossing/walking/traveling a street or interacting/communicating/talking to a stranger can feel overwhelming/daunting/intimidating. Still/However/Yet, there are ways/methods/strategies to rebuild/reintegrate/reconstruct your life and find/discover/locate peace/tranquility/contentment in the world beyond/past/outside the wire.

Resounds in the Cell Block

The steel walls imprisoned the sounds of a hundred lives passed. Each rattle of a chain, every uneven footstep on the concrete floor, told a story. Stories of innocence, of anger, all mingling in a symphony of sadness. Even in the quietude, one could sense the impact of their lives.
